Crossbill
Anotehr of my favourite birds to see, though in very short supply locally. We have seen them before in the Lake District in Dodd Wood, whilst watching the Ospreys over Bassenthwaite Lake. We have also seen them in Scotland by Loch Garten and Loch an Eileen whilst staying at Aviemore in April 2002, These however were seen in Majorca near to Cala Bona in September 2002, where we got the best views of anywhere.
