This is another rare visitor that turned up last Spring and spent several weeks on Cowpen Pond before moving on in the Summer. The photos aren’t very good, but it was a duck that was easily spooked, not liking the presence of humans. It was a duck that preferred it’s own company not even mixing with other Pochards. |
