Another cheering sight to see in the garden. A solitary bird which seems to like delving into nooks and crannies in it’s search for food. It spends most of it’s time on the ground hunting around the bases of bushes. Occasionally it comes onto the top of the fence, but at the first hint of danger, it dives for the centre of the densest bush near at hand. For such a small bird they have a lovely loud singing voice. |
