A common garden visitor throughout the year. It is about the bossiest bird using the garden feeders. It will chase whatever other bird is on the same feeder, even if they all have their own ports and are not in direct competition for food. Still, they are a cheering sight to see and are often the first ones at the feeders, taking sunflower heart and peanuts. The also freely feed off the bird table and off the ground. |
