Cardboard Works

 

A long time member of Woodthorpe MRC, "Cardboard John" Fownes is famed throughout the East Midlands for producing detailed working O gauge models from cardboard. Bodywork, chassis, tenders and rolling stock can all be produced quickly and easily.

John's detailed models can be seen running at our show. John also gives demonstrations of his skills and techniques at other shows throughout the region. Or you can come along to the Woodthorpe Model Railway Club and learn at your leisure.
