Woodthorpe Model Railway Club

Welcome to the website for the Woodthorpe Model Railway Club.

We are a small and friendly club located in Nottingham, UK. We are interested in all matters related to railway modelling. The club has permanent clubrooms at the Sherwood Community Centre on Mansfield Road, Sherwood, Nottingham, NG5 3FN (map). 

We have layouts in O, OO and N scales. So whether your interests are in model railway building, railway operation, sitting watching the trains go by, or drinking tea and talking about trains, we would be delighted to meet you at our regular meetings every Tuesday from 7-10pm. 

The club runs an annual show each autumn at the Sherwood Community Centre. This event is open to members of the public.
