Report:   

A very competitive game with both sides playing good football. Basford defended very well although Netherfield squandered numerous chances when in front of goal. If they scored half the sitters they had it would have been double figures but Basford kept going and kept their heads up and made it a very good game to watch. Joe Fowler scored on the break and 5 mins later Luke Attenborough made it 2 although in the last 10 mins could have had a hat trick as Basford pushed forward to try level the score.
