Great result against Division 1 Pelican to send us through to the last 16..
We took the lead in the 1st minute with an own goal by a Pelican defender who flicked Nico’s superb corner in to the net.
Pelican came storming back and went 2-1 up at half time.
At this point we looked like we were going to get well beaten by a very strong and physical Pelican side.
After a half time rocket from Jim we were totally dominant in the 2nd half and could easily have won by a bigger margin.
Joe Jani scored the equaliser heading in another Nico corner and Reece scored the winner after excellent work down the left from Nico and Joe Brown.
Well done to everyone and lets hope for a good draw in the next round !!!
