After giving a soft goal away in the first minute, we were always up against it, and a disgraceful verbal assault on the young referee in the second half by the Vernon manager and 3 parents ensured that from that point on we never got a decision. Physically we gave as good as we got this week and the Vernon manager and parents didn't like the taste of their own medicine that their players dished out on us during the last meeting and this too. Credit to our players who battled hard. Despite us having yet again to change the formation to suit who we had fit, with better finishing might have got something out of the match. Keep up the good work and maybe one day our honesty may prevail.
