This was atop of the table class with both sides not having dropped a point going into todays game.
We were all nervous mums and dads included,we knew it was a big game and we just didn’t settle in the first half,calverton used their big lads at the back and in midfield to launch it forward and their tactics worked well as they scored two goals on the break.
Their two front players were very quick and even liam deane just managed to keep up with one of them leaving the other to run on and score.
At half-time we mentioned that the effort wasn’t there and if they only believed in themselfes abit more we could still get back into the game.we had nearly all of the possession in the 2nd half their goalie making 2 or 3 good saves, we also had a couple of good penalty appeals turned down, they scored again on a breakaway but we still played well and scored through a bradley header after a fine cross by tom staples.
