Report:
Well this had to be the smallest groumd we have played on since we went to 11 a side. We got off to a great start and were two nil up within 3 minutes. In the first minute brad scored a tap-in then had a fine run and cross for tom thraves to score.
Although we had a couple of scares they hit the post and ryan saved, on 10 mins we got another after a fine turn and strike from sam,a corner from sam and fine volley from tom thraves made it four. minutes later it was five jake was brought down in the area advantage was played and joe scored from 15 yards. After 20 mins sam swung a corner in the ball came off a west bridgford player for an o.g.
Before half-time another good corner from sam saw joe hit the post and tom t scored a first half hat trick and a 7-0 lead.
The second half started as the first in the first minutejoe was brought down,mazzo struck a fine free kick straight in fron 25 yards. They looked alot better side in the 2nd half and scored liam failed to hold the ball and they reacted quicker to score.
It was pretty even for a while then joe made a great run and scored in the corner of the net, they carried on battling then we scored another when sam broke and hit a fine shot for a 10-1 lead.all credit to west bridgford they scored when a free kick was swung in and they again reacted quicker to score. By now they were playing better when they scored from a break from the half way line.
A great scoreline but we will need to tighten up next week for the qtr final of the cup
