Report:

Another Cup run is on the cards for the U10s Orange as they ran out convincing winners over a determined Kimberely Miners Welfare Black in the YEL Cup.

The U10's didn't start as well as they have done of late.Shots from Brad and Luke early on went close with Luke hitting the post and Brad firing just wide from close range. Kimberley were quite physical in their approach Orange had to weather some strong challenges. Macauley and Ben in defence were again in good form and Macauley almost scored when his run up the left wing ended with an excellent strike on goal that forced an equally superb save from the Kimberley keeper.

Elliott, Brad and Aaron took control in midfiled and provided good service to luke, who had an excellent game teasing their right back with some clever skills and providing some quality crosses into the box. He also got on the score sheet after forcing the ball into the net after a goalmouth scramble. Elliott had earlier drilled home his shot to open the scoring.

With the score at 2-0 at half time it was delicately poised but during the second half the goals started to come. Ryan and Harry were introduced with Ryan acting as a lone striker. Brad scored two goals after dribbling past 3 players and driving home the ball into the net to complete his hat trick. Harry added two goals to his seasons tally with shots shot from close range.

Macauley almost scored when his run up the left wing ended with an excellent strike on goal that forced an equally superb save from the Kimberley keeper.

Kimberley had their chances with thir striker going close with a couple of cracking shots just over the bar, although, to be fair Dan did not really have to make a save all afternoon.

The season's unbeaten run continues as Orange find themselves in the next round of another cup competition and still top of the league with games in hand.

Orange finally return to league action next week with a visit from west Bridgford Cougars.
