Report:
In their first competitive game for 3 weeks the Orange U 10s showed that they have not lost any competitive edge to their flowing style of play.
On a rain soaked pitch the game quickly came to life when the orange u10s conceded their first game in competitive football this season.
This fired them up and they were soon level when Brad slotted home from close range and then doubled his tally with a stunning goal after a solo run.
Sherwood had to do some solid defending as attacks continued on their goal and Macauley was taken off after he was caught in the face after a strong challenge. Ben was then brought on at right back and showed good strength propping up the defence with the very skilful Elliott.
As the game wore on the goals started to come. Brad added to his total with another fine finish after a long run, Luke finished in 'Henry' style with a cheeky chip over the goalkeeper following an excellent cross from Aaron. Luke finished from close range after Aaron's shot was parried by the keeper.
Ryan showed some nice little touches, nearly scoring with his first touch. It surely won't be long before he gets himself on the score sheet.
As they took control Dan exchanged shirts with Ben and came out for a spell outfield showing what a versatile player he is.
Harry and Hayniey continue to make good progress in their first season with the Colts with superb performances.
There can't be many teams who would relish a visit from this team in the next round!
