Report:
A magnificent team performance saw the Orange team finally overcome old rivals Priory Celtic with an emphatic 6 - 0 win. Priory, who, are an extremely organised and committed side started the game better with a shot hitting the post early on in the game. Several minutes of Priory pressure followed. the defence held up and Dan Ditchfield made some excellent saves from long range shots.
Ben young came close with a free kick but the Priory keeper was also in good form.
Once the first goal went Orange took control. A cross from Brad put Luke through and although his shot was parried by the keeper, Ryan was on hand to fire in the deflection from close range.
Brad and Macauley added to their goal tallies with outstanding goals finishing off in style after some skilfull dribbling.
Harry slotted home a corner from Aaron early in the second half and also scored from close range after Aaron had crossed into the box.
Priory who never gave up fighting had their chances hitting the post twice and also forcing some excellent saves from Daniel in goal.
Netherfield colts, who historically, have struggled in recent contests with Priory, must now feel that they have the upper hand.
An all round great team performance and two clean sheets.
