Report:
If Keyworth had walked away with all three points from this game Orange could have been forgiven for thinking that they are jinxed this season.
This was a performance from an Orange side which showed real strength and determination to turn round a 3-1 deficit. Orange, playing in a re-arranged formation without Macauley and any substitutes, again showed that they are one of the best footballing teams in the league. Their passing easily out played a Keyworth side with an excellent home record. Keyworth had some pace up front and it was from two counter attacks that they were able to score but they were never a match for Orange.
With two mintes left and 3-1 down Orange were awarded a free kick just outside the penalty area. Ben calmly stepped up to fire the ball into the top corner of the net to make it 3-2. Into the final minute and Orange had a corner which was taken by Aaron and after a scramble Luke put the ball in to equalise.
It was Orange who took the lead early on when his run ended with a strike into the bottom of the net. Keyworth made few chances and Ben and Elliott were always able to stop any attacks. Chances for Orange came from Brad who shot just over after another great run.Brad's through ball to Ryan was just too long and he was unable to connect. Keyworth had few chances during the first half, one of which was cleared off the line by Aaron.
Keyworth's equaliser came just before half time when a superb strike was brilliantly saved by Dan only for the rebound to be picked up by the keyworth striker who calmly put the ball in.
Orange started the second half with the wind behind them and Brad almost put them in front from the kick off when his strike was tipped over the bar.Luke also went close with a shot just over the bar and Ryan also went close when his looped shot went just over.
When keyworth took the lead it was a against the run of play and as Orange went looking for the equaliser they were caught on the counter attack which led to keyworth going 3-1 up and looking like winners.
Orange could easily have lied back and conceded after all their efforts had seemed to be in vain. But this side have shown that they are not going to give up and battled back to pull off an excellent result. Their league campaign continues on Thursday 30th with a home game against Kimberley where they will be looking to overturn their recent defeat.
