Orange must again consider themselves very unlucky after this encounter. This was a game that Orange dominated for long periods but failed to convert their many chances, and also being denied by the post and bar.

Dan made a return to his position as goalkeeper with Ben taking up his familiar role at the rear of the defence with Macauley.

The game started with Orange pressuring the Clifton goal. First half chances came with Luke shooting just wide after being put through by Brad. Macauley also put Aaron through who was unlucky when his shot was again just wide. It was Elliott who came closest to scoring when he shot just wide from the edge of the box and also unleashed a fearsome shot that was somehow tipped onto the bar by the keeper. Elliott's follow up from the rebound was also just wide. As the first half went on chances came with Luke and Brad just missing the target. Clifton All Whites had a shot brilliantly saved by Dan when he tipped a shot onto the bar.

After the interval Orange continued to press and should have finished when Elliott sent a great cross across the face of the goal but there was nobody in the box to finish. Luke hit the bar from close range after a goalmouth scramble and you sensed it was not going to be their day.

Clifton had a few chances but Dan was equal to anything they threw at him twice bravely diving at the feet of the oncoming strikers to prevent certain goals.

Further chances followed with Elliott again being denied by the cross bar and Hayniey who had a shot just wide. Ryan was brought on to replace Elliott and again operated as a lone striker.

Clifton had a good spell of sustained pressure during the last ten minutes and again Dan pulled off a brave save in a one-on-one with the clifton striker.

Orange must now look to next week where they will be hoping to secure a place in the final of the YEL Cup against Arnold town Blue.
