Report:
A very impressive performance from a under strength Colts side who lost by a single goal from a one and only shot from the home side. A very courageous display from the girls in front of a partisan home side who would have done a good job at home at Millwall v West Ham in a must win relegation battle rather than a under 10's girls match at the picturesque village of Linby. The often heard phrases like ''skin her'' , ''stay down'' and to tell the manager to ''shut the **** up'' when daring to ask for a handball when the girl almost did a Freddie Flintoff at third slip was just a few of the niceties that the away team had to put up with. Its a great pity that the antics of the grown ups take away the gloss from a very aggressive and resiliant display from the battling Linby girls. A special mention to the Linby goal keeper who put up the best display from anyone who we have played against.
