A far better performance then in previous weeks, despite the 5-1 score line.

Pegasus lead 3-0 at half time through an unstoppable long-range effort, a goal from a poor goalkeepers kick and a scrambled finish. Netherfield had the majority of the possession and chances, but some poor finishing and some good goalkeeping were the difference in a close first half.

Netherfield tried to get back into the game after the break, applying lots of pressure. But Pegasus added a fourth on the break and despite Thomas pulling a game back with ten minutes to left, Pegasus added a fifth.

Probably our best defensive goal of the season and yet we still conceded five goals! If we had taken our chances like Pegasus the result would have been far different. But it was hard to pick fault with anyone who played during a second half of continuous torrential rain.
