This scheme was originally developed for Debden C of E Primary school. The scheme was designed with a class of Year 3 and 4 children with relatively little experience of using Word.

This scheme includes 14 lesson plans with accompanying task sheets, a medium term plan, complete pupil assessment sheets and a glossary of ICT terms that can be printed out and put on the wall as part of an ICT display.

The lessons in the scheme can be adapted for Upper KS1, although the language of the task sheets may be too complicated for younger children. I would recommend that if the scheme is being used with younger children, that an adult work with them on the computer.
