This page has been created to list some of the more useful websites that can be used in schools. This is not a definitive list, the nature of the Internet means that any definitive list would be out of date very quickly. The Teacher Resource Exchange has a range of resources created by teachers. It is moderated by a team of subject specialists who add comments and can put resources forward for Curriculum Online.

Talking Teaching

Talking Teaching is a best practice website where teachers can share their ideas with other teachers.

History:

British Museum Website on Ancient Egypt

This website is full of information on Egypt. It's child friendly and easy to use.

Maths:

The NRICH website
http://nrich.maths.org
This website is full of maths activities for all ages. I have used a number of the activities on this site and been lucky enough to watch some of the authors do the activities with pupils.
