POLESTAR Systems manufacturer low cost but high performance race ignition management and fuel injection systems. These systems were originally designed and developed for use with the Mini A-Series engine. However they can be used with any none fuel injected 4 cylinder engine. Our customer’s cars include many race and road-going Mini's, a road-going Ford Sierra Cosworth and even a Historic Formula 2 single seater! POLESTAR Systems has been building race ignition management systems for sometime. The original POLESTAR I system was developed in the mid 1990's. This system powered both Stuart Drake and Peter Baldwin to 1st and 2nd respectively in the 1997 National Mini Migla Championship. The current production system is now the POLESTAR III. This system is can be supplied in a number of different configuration, from a simple 2D ignition only system right up to a fully sequential twin-point A-Series injection system, or a turbo system with knock control.
