| These arethe inital models, before being cleaned-up and assembled. |
First the models are cleaned up, and then mounted on a metal base
(in this case, a 2p coin)
The models are then undercoated. I used thinned Citadel Chaos Black, which was painted on with a No.3 Brush.
The basecoats were then painted. The anti-flash head cover was painted Tamyia German Grey, the
coveralls Tamyia NATO Black, the boots Cote d'arms Slate Grey (533), the body armour Citadel Chaos Black and
the metal parts of the guns Citadel Bolt Gun Metal.

The flesh areas were painted with Citadel Bronzed Flesh, and then a wash of Citadel Flesh Wash was applied.
Once dry, the eyes were painted with Citadel Skull White.
The anti-flash hoods were lightly drybrushed with Cote d'arms Slate Grey (533).
The coveralls were drybrushed with Citadel Shadow Grey
The body armour, gloves and gas masks were drybrushed with Citadel Nightworld Blue.
The boots were shaded with Black Ink, and then drybrushed with Cote d'arms Slate Grey (533).
The metal areas of the weapons were given 2 washes of Citadel Armour Wash.
The base had a coat of PVA glue applied, and was then dipped in Sharp Sand.
I chose to paint the base using a standard 'country' colouring, as opposed to an urban colour, so that the figure
would contrast with the base and stand out from it.
Once this was dry, it was given a coat of Tamyia Flat Earth, and then drybrushed with
Ciatdel Orc Brown and Citadel Ash Wastes Grey. More PVA glue was applied, and the base was dipped in flock.
Finally, the trousers were lightly drybrushed with Citadel Orc Brown and Citadel Ash Wastes Grey, in order to
blend the figure with the base.
