These models were painted using the colours recommended by the
uniform guide supplied by Gladiator Games with their catalogue of Coat d'arms
paints, but then corrected by using the Osprey Book "Fallschirmjager, German Paratrooper 1935-45".
The model used in this painint guide is from the Fallschirmjager range produced by Black Tree Design.
Unless otherwise stated, all paints used are acrylics.

First the model is cleaned up, and then mounted on a metal base (in this case, a 2p coin)
The model is then undercoated. I used thinned Citadel Chaos Black, which was painted on with a No.3 Brush

The first basecoats were then painted. The helmet was painted Tamyia Field Blue (XF-50), the smock Tamyia
Black Green (XF-27) and the trousers Tamyia Greman Grey (XF-63)
The boots are then painted with Cote d'arms Slate Grey (533) and the flesh areas are painted with
Citadel Dwarf Flesh.

The flesh areas are now shaded, using Citadel Flesh Wash. The boots are given a wash of Citadel Black Ink
The first highlights are then applied. Coat d'arms Uniform Grey (525) is drybrushed on the trousers, whilst the
smock is drybrushed with Humbrol Dark Green (30).

The second stage highlights are then applied. The smock is drybrushed with Coat d'arms Green Grey (505), the
helmet with Coat d'arms Field Blue (518) and the flesh areas with Citadel Bronzed Flesh.
Some of the detailing is now done. The webbing and water bottle are painted Citadel Scorched Brown, the gas mask
case, and mess tin are painted Tamyia Field Grey (XF-65), and the ammunition bandolier is painted Coat d'arms
Uniform Grey ((525).
The rifle is painted Citadel Spearstaff Brown and Tamyia Gun Metal (X-10).

The final detailing is applied: Buckles are painted Citadel Bolt Gun Metal, The ammunition bandolier is shaded with
Black Inak and drybrushed with Coat d'arms Uniform Grey ((525). The eyes are painted with Citadel Skull White.
The base is then covered with PVA Glue, and dipped in Sharp Sand.

The base is then painted Tamyia Flat Earth (XF-52).
Once dry, the base is then drybrushed; first with Citadel Orc Brown, andsecondly with Citadel Ash Wastes Grey.
Finally, dabs of PVA glue are applied to the base, and the model is then dipped in flock. Once this is dry, the model
is then given a coat of Humbrol Gloss Cote, followed by Humbrol Matt Cote.
