'Combat Missions' Scenarios

There is a TV 'Game' show, made by the USA Network, entitled 'Combat Missions'. This game pitted four teams of 6 US Special Forces and SWAT operatives against each other in a series of missions.

The missions are ideal for playing as small skirmish wargames, and so I have put together some scenarios based on the missions played during the series.

The scenarios are based on the 'At Close Quarters' rules produced by HLBS Co, but can easily be adapted to whatever system you are playing.
Note - Each scenario uses a 6' x 4' playing area.

The scenarios are for two players, and should be suitable to complete in a short time. The idea is that each player takes a turn at being the attacker and the defender in each scenario.
The players start with 1000 points each, and then are awarded scores for various things that happen during the scenario. (See individual scenarios for details).
Any player that fails to complete a mission automatically scores 0. The player with the most points at the end of playing the two games is the winner of that mission.

The Scenarios

  • Fuel Dump Demolition - Destroy an enemy fuel dump and rescue hostages.
  • Drugs Lab Raid - Raid an illegal drugs lab and capture a drug baron.
  • POW Rescue - Rescue a POW who is being transported in a truck convoy.
  • Pilot Down - Rescue a pilot who has been shot down in enemy territory.
  • Tank Hunt - Destroy an enemy tank.
