A friendly plane has been shot down over enemy territory. Your mission is to recover the pilot.
Attackers - 6 Special Forces (Elite), each armed with M16 assault rifles and M18 smoke grenades
Rolling hills (see map), with plenty of scrub dotted around to provide cover.
Attackers deploy at location 'A'.
The attacker starts with 1000 points. The following amendments are made:
Special RulesFrom turn two, the Defender rolls 1D6 at the start of his turn. If the number rolled is less the turn number, he may deploy an additional patrol of 2 guards, which enter the board at location 'E'. (i.e. '1' on turn 2, '1' or '2' on turn 3 etc.)
The pilot suffered two broken ankles on landing, and may not move by himself. If required to move, he must be carried. If carried by a single man, he may be moved 3" a turn. Every additional model carrying the pilot adds an extra 2" to speed he may be carried at - up to a maximum of four models carrying the pilot.
In order to complete the scenario, the Attackers must exit the board, with the pilot, at location 'F'.
In addition to the guards, the defender also gets 1D6+1 light mortar rounds. Two rounds may be fired on the first turn, and a single round on each following turn.
In order to fire, the defender places a marker where he wants the rounds to land. The round then scatter 2D6 inches in a random direction. The mortar round explodes with a 3" blast radius. Each figure inside the blast radius recieves 1 hit.
