BIRMINGHAM CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

My first and only love. Finances and commitments prevent me seeing more than about five games a season nowadays.
However, I remain dedicated to The Blues.

DIVISION 1 PLAYOFF FINAL 2002

Finally, Blues manage to achieve promotion to the Premiership after three years of playoff misery and sixteen years out of the top flight. Geoff Horsfield scored in extra time to equalize Norwich's goal. Then, shock horror, we manage to win a penalty shoot-out after five successive defeats. The winning penalty was scored by 18 year old Darren Carter, Bluenose from birth and new living legend. Here's some pics from the day, and yes, I was there.

He's scored! Fucking yes.

Oh my God, surely not?
