Neil Carrington graduated from Kings College London in 1986 with a degree in Geology and Geography. He is the co-founder of Science Dome and has a great passion for sharing the wonder of science to children. He brings a wealth of experience to Science Dome and is an experienced rocks and fossils collector. Following 6 years of holidays in the Isle of Wight and also being local to the Jurassic Coast, Neil had a vision to show the wonder of Dinosaurs and rocks to schools, combining this with a show about the stars. Instead of just taking rocks into classrooms, Neil purchased his first Mobile Dome to bring to schools to show computerized film and pictures and combined this with his private collection of fossils. Neil has been amazed at the interest and take-up of the Science Dome service and now presents general science shows linked to Key Stages in subjects such as Light and Sound and Soils.
Neil is a committed Christian and loves to present the RS show using the Science Dome, sharing his awe at the wonder of God’s creation.

Mick Greenwood is an ex senior BT engineer and is a co-founder of Science Dome. He brings full technical knowledge to Science Dome from computerization, projection and 3D film editing. Mick's speciality is the production of 3D films and still pictures which are shown in all our shows. These are produced and edited in-house by Science Dome and some are better than NASA! Mick accompanies Neil on field work trips and takes 3D images of fossils finds and soils - worth seeing (as well as our scary dinosaurs!). He finds time to help with the set-up of the dome during a school visit and ensures that the school day runs smoothly without technical problems!
Mick is a collector of many objects from model trains and cars to historic pictures. He also finds time to fish!

Steve Blight is a computer specialist with many years of systems development experience. He is also experienced with working with young people through church and a youth club, and is a qualified adult education teacher. He has long been interested in the stars and planets, and believes that the latest computer-generated star scenes could capture the imagination of everyone who gets the chance to see them.
Steve loves walking, camping, and generally being outside under the skies!

John Wadsworth is an experienced teacher and storyteller with a passion for astronomy. He holds an MA in Cultural Cosmology and has an extensive knowledge of the night sky, and also the stories associated with it, having studied the stellar mythology of many cultures around the world. As well as teaching students about the planets, stars, nebulas, galaxies and so on, he also likes to work imaginatively with groups of students in the planetarium dome environment to inspire them to think about the sky and what it means for them, as a way of expanding their awareness of their place in the world and thus gaining a greater perspective on their own lives.

Giuseppe Nicolosi comes from the beautiful sunny island of Sicily in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.
He graduated in Physics from Catania University.
After a 10-year career in retail, Giuseppe decided to return to his first love, Astronomy. He is currently in the process of completing a MSc in Astrophysics at Queen Mary University in London, and is also a freelancer working for The Royal Observatory in Greenwich . He is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.
Giuseppe believes that not only is Science a lot of fun, but it is also a lot easier than most people think. He is eager to share this love of Science with others..
As far as Astronomy is concerned, one of the areas that particularly interest Giuseppe is the history of Astronomy and of old instruments such as astrolabes. He feels these can be invaluable tools for learning about Astronomy even in our modern computer driven day and age.
Giuseppe is also interested in game programming; creating those realistic scenarios are fascinating.
His other passions are, his lovely wife, reading books on Science-Fiction, Philosopy, History and Science. One of his biggest headaches is that he has too many books and does not want to get rid of any of them; he wonders if he is going to end up moving out of his own house to make more room for these books.
