No Strings Attached is a group of Christians who started using puppets in church way back in 1993 as part of a fun weekend. We got hooked, and found it a fun way of putting across God's message both within the context of a church service, and outside it. We are all volunteers, and hold down 'proper' jobs during the week, making week day commitments difficult.
No Strings Attached is the Robert Hall Memorial Baptist Church Puppet Group, based in Leicester. Please do not confuse us with other allegedly similiarly named secular groups based elsewhere in the Midlands... With Leicester being in Central England, all places are easily accessible, and we have held workshops as far away as Taunton to the south-west, Rochester to the south-east, Stafford to the north-west and Ollerton to the north.

So that we can go to any size of church for the same relative cost, we introduced a 'per member' fee two years ago, which has been very successful, with the larger churches subsidising the smaller ones. None of the team is paid, so all the fees are put back into maintaining our equipment and keeping the puppets fed and housed. Our fees are: 50p per church member + petrol (at cost) + £50 if whole weekend workshop. If we need to stay overnight at a church, we ask that hospitality is provided by the host church.
