The first competion of the Welsh Athletics Calender took place at UWIC on Saturday 25th. Here is the link to the results

Ive been in contact with Welsh Athletics to attain some photos from the championships so as soon as I get them il get them up on the website. Also ive decided NOT to write a report on the Championships, deciding only to do this for International events.

Gareth Sutcliffe Journal Updated
Sorry for not keeping the website updated ive been busy with training and birthday etc. Unfourtunatly the Google Adsense Program fell through so the website is not making any money from the ads anymore so I have decided to make revenue off the website ive set up a ''Donate'' page were anybody can donate money to the website. I can 100% assure that money will go back in to the website to buy;
- More webspace
- Equiptment (Camera's etc)
- New URL
- Payment for the FTP (The program which I use to upload the pages to the internet)
. With the first indoor compition coming up on the 25th of November the website will hopefully fill up. The forum has been set up but can do quite for long periods of time so please encourage people to join it and get involved. I hope to get 2 interviews with Brett Morse and Carryl Granville online as soon as possbile also updating of journals. Also photos from the WSAA Indoor Combinded Events will be up as soon as the compition is over also a report. Thanks and keep viewing!

First of all Id like to say Happy Halloween to every body. Im not sure if you have noticed but on quite alot of the webpages now there are Google Ad's. This is because my website has been approved by Google Adsense. So for every person that clicks on these links I will make money. So please display a interest in the ads, and remember the more you click, the more I make which I can put it back in to the website. Thanks.

Hello and Welcome to Welsh Junior Athletics : The Web site for the future Welsh Track Stars. My name is Gareth Sutcliffe and I live in Cardiff. I've set the web site up in light of the popularity of the Welsh-AF (Welsh Athletes Forum) which was set up on the blog web site www.bebo.com . During the season, as I think many of you would agree, I have met some great people from all over Wales; At International Schools Events, Welsh Athletics Teams, UK YAL League Matches, Welsh Junior League Matches, also The Welsh Schools Championships and The Welsh Age Group Championships. But during the winter friendships go to miss, especially if your event (like mine) does not appear on the indoor fixtures, so its a long time until May when the season has gone full circle. Also with many athletes moving age group they might not be seeing each other as often. So what has this got to do with this web site? :
Well like other athletes people will keep in touch through MSN or Mobiles, but through this web site people can meet on the forum and keep up with Welsh Athletics news.
The ideas I have for the web site is to set up a photo page and video page, also a report page. So any help with video coverage or photographs would be much appreciated.
