Each Picture Tile starts out as a pencil sketch on a bisque tile. The tile is then hand painted using underglaze colours. The pencil lines burn away during the firing leaving the painted image captured forever under a transparent glaze. Each tile is then set into one of our handmade frames, made from recycled wood.
