Holywood Yacht Club is a Recognised Teaching Centre (RTC).

As such it is permitted to run RYA Courses using

qualified RYA Instructors and standards are maintained by regular inspections.

Qualifications gained on RYA courses are widely recognised.

Do you want to become a RYA First Aid Instructor? A course can be organised at HYC

RYA First Aid 2 day course may be run at a cost of £25.00 each if a minimum of 10 persons apply. Dates TBC. First Aid manual 7th edition + required. Can be purchased on course £12.00each. Names to C. Burns

RYA VHF GMDSS Operators course may be run at a cost of £65.00 each if a minimum of 6 persons apply. Date TBC. Name to C. Burns.

Maximum & Minimum numbers for all courses apply. If minimum numbers for courses are not achieved, courses may be postponed or cancelled. RYA Sailing Courses may change level of qualification depending on demand. Minimum age is 10 for junior courses.
