Weekend Junior Groups
8 Week course from 23rd August to 18th October inclusive
    (No session 6th September due to Coaches Training Course.) (maximum number of juniors in group) cost per junior (payable in week 1)
             
    SATURDAYS      
             
Beginners Group   9.45 a.m. - 10.45 p.m. 4 £30
The aim of the  Beginners Group is for its members to enjoy developing golf swings and the skills of putting, chipping, and pitching.  
             
Tigger Tour - U'10's   1.45 p.m. - 2.45 p.m.  6 £30
The aim of the group is for its members to understand the basic skills and develop consistancy in the performance of those skills and be able to competently play par 3 golf by the summer of 2009.
             
Tigger Tour - U'12's   3.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m.   6 £60
The aim of this group is for its members to be able to competantly play par 3 golf and be developing towards playing golf on a full size course by the summer of 2009. 
             
U'13 (or younger with handicaps) 11.15 a.m. - 1.15 p.m. 6 £60
The aim is for members of this group to be able to play golf on a full size course, to obtain a junior 'club' handicap and be committed to reducing this handicap. Members should look to be actively participating in internal and external competitions in 2009. 
             
    SUNDAYS      
             
U'15     1.00 p.m. - 3.00 p.m   6 £60
The aim is for members of this group to be able to play golf on a full size course, to obtain a junior 'club' handicap and be committed to reducing this handicap. Members should look to be actively participating in internal and external competitions in 2009. 
             
             
             
Parents/guardians of juniors in the Beginners or U'10 'Tigger Tour' groups must remain at Hill Barn Golf Club during the whole of each lesson and occasionally may be asked to participate.
             
Sessions will, from time to time, include 'classroom' sessions on subjects such as rules, etiquette etc, as well as including golf 'homework' particularly for those in the U'13 and U'15 groups.
             
Allocation of spaces in the groups and promotion to a higher level is by invitation only.  
             
Prior to being offered a place in a group juniors are asked to attend a free assessment session. At the end of the session Keith will recommend what he considers to be the most appropriate lesson plan for that individual junior golfer's development 
             
Juniors are expected to bring appropriate 'eats and refreshments' to the lessons
