(SuMmer Introductory Low-key Events)

SMILE's are SuMmer Introductory Low-key Events and they will be held on either Saturday or Sunday mornings starting in April and finishing in June. SMILE events will offer White, Yellow and Orange courses, and each one will be planned and organised by a different WAOC family. SMILE events are aimed particularly at developing orienteers in White (TD1), Yellow (TD2) and Orange (TD3) skills. However, there will also be a score event to encourage the more experienced orienteers to come along and lend a hand.
Details
The cost of a morning's orienteering will be just £1 and for this you can do as many courses as you can fit in to the time available, so it is a really good chance to run your usual course really fast and then have a non-competitive go at the next harder one. (Adults Score course £3)
Unless otherwise stated, registration is from 10:00 to 11:30 with starts from 10:30 to 12:00.
