If you are wondering how all the points were worked out it's best not to ask - but with a great degree of difficulty. This year we have seen a wide variety of differing ideas within these mid week events. Trying to correlate the scores between events is impossible. In previous years there was a degree of correlation with minutes per km, but this has mostly not been possible this year. There is also a loading for competitors in the Junior and Veteran age groups vis a vis the Senior groups, so really the points score can only relate to those within your own age group. Don't forget that because this is an EFFORT league you get points just for turning up - as well as for your performance. Helpers/organisers also get good points scores.
