Organisers Comments

Many thanks to all those that came along to compete and to those that helped – you all helped create a great Smile event at Hinchingbrooke Country Park.  An excellent turn out on Father’s Day (again) and good bright sunny weather (again) with the temperature this time reaching 33° C.

The event proved much easier to run today because of the help offered throughout the morning, the weather and the fact that there were no reports of missing / vandalised controls.

We are now building the numbers up at these Smile events.  There was a very good turn out at Milton last week and nearly as many this week.   These events are no proving quite popular and I am sure that we will see a good turn out for our final event in the series for 2005 at Therfield Heath, Royston on Saturday, 9 July.
