Organiser's Report: Many thanks to all the competitors who came along today. The sun smiled on us and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We had a few more "newcomers" and several said that they could not wait for the next event and that they would now join WAOC. Thank you also to Neil, Pauline, Martin & Philip Humphries who manned the finish and to Marcus Misson who manned the start, both parties making our life very easy. We are pleased to report that there was only one act of mischief when a control used on the White and Orange courses was moved and the punch lost, although the control flag was recovered. Those competitors that missed it were reinstated. Sorry to the Score competitors that had difficulty at the control in the marsh. It might have been kinder of us to warn you that this was one of the few controls on the Score that was not visible from some distance, given that it did not feature on any of the three colour coded Smile courses - we thought we had to make it a little more challenging for you but perhaps ten feet visibility was too much of a change in style !
