Note: White, Yellow and Orange Standards

BOF rule G3.6 says the 'controller may extend colour coded qualifying times at their discrection'.

In this case, as the event was also a SMILE, the Controller has decided to extend the colour standard on White, Yellow and Orange to include all 'first run' finishers.

Controllers Comments:

Well done to Martin for planning some interesting and challenging courses.  Ampthill Park is a great little area, and I felt Martin's courses made good use of the park, especially as we decided, quite late in the day, to use manual rather than electronic punching.

Having Neil as an in-house checker made controlling this event very easy, and there were only a few things that needed picking up.  It was also a joy to be able to check all of the controls on Saturday morning in under an hour!

The SMILE series seems to have been very successful and it was good to see so many youngsters having one, two or even three runs on the day - I hope this enthusiasm lasts.  If it does, who knows, we could have some future internationals in our midst.
