Short Organiser's Report:

Despite the long  weekend and the Springtime in Shropshire being held at the same time more than 30 children and adults came for the run on Sunday 25th May to the SMILE event in Rowney Wood.

We had the typical choice of White (1.6 km), Yellow (2.2 km) and Orange (2.6 km) courses and the 30 mins score. Most children did (and quite enjoyed) more than one course.

My apologies to everyone on the score course who's been looking for the control 9 (214), it was there but in the different depression nearby ;) - read more in Planner's comments.

Having agreed to plan the courses for the SMILE event organised by my family and having known that I couldn't be there on the day, I must say a huge thank you to my Mum who agreed to take on the organising despite knowing that she'd also have to sort out putting out/collecting controls apart from organising everything else.

I'm really sorry to those of you who were on the score course and apparently found that control 9 wasn't in the right place. I'd moved it in the final stages of planning to make sure that orange competitors wouldn't be confused and I didn't change it around on my master with all the controls which meant it as in the wrong depression. Hopefully that didn't spoil your run too much!
