Organiser's comments

Well, 15 competitors made it to the event despite the fact that the weather looked rather bleak this morning (but fortunately turned out well in the end) and despite the fact that the area was rather overgrown and grotty (though you may or may not have known that before). I hope you enjoyed the event even though, as I mentioned, the brambles and nettles were very very high underfoot.

I'd like to thank my mum, Jitka Sengerova, who, even though she didn't have a run herself, helped with all the last minute bits and pieces that needed to be done before the event (even though it was quite late in the evening!), as well as putting out and collecting some controls on the day of the event. Also thanks to Steve Hinshelwood who helped with registration and made sure the clock and timer were working as they should be. And finally thanks to all of you who turned up to the event.
