Organisers Comments

I have to put my hand up and admit to having misplaced No 5.  Absolutely no excuse, but I was under pressure to get all the controls out to meet my target start time of 1800 hrs.  And this was one of the last controls.  It's surprising how many found this without comment, nevertheless.
Control 12 was a bit iffy, certainly, but here again the majority found it.  This depression was all too obvious just one week ago.  And now it's all filled in with long grass.  I'm very surprised that control 13 caused so much of a problem, especially as the first 3 home all collected it.  It is just possible that the depression used was created during this last winter, whereas the mapped depression may well have been that which is now known as Roger's skylarking pit.  The fact that I went straight to it when putting out the control may well have been a misfortune/luck/coincidence.
So, all in all, I have to apologise profusely for these sorry controls which must have marred too many runs.  Thank you for coming anyway.

Hally Hardie
