It's located on the mid Costa Blanca in a quiet residential town called Gran Alacant 7 minutes drive south from Alicante Airport. Its not in the
flight path so there is no aircraft noise. There are lots of bars and
restarurants and very little local night life.This place is ideal for
families and couples.There are plenty of shops and supermarkets. The blue flag beach
is 3 minutes drive away and there is a timetable for
bus transport to Alicante or south to the nearest town Santa Pola.
There are local markets at various places on varying days of the
week. The closest being literally round the corner every Tuesday morn to
early afternoon during the summer.
There is also Terra Mittica theme park ( on a par if not better than
Alton Towers) and Aqualandia water park 45 minutes drive north to
Benidorm.
There are 9 golf courses ranging from 10 mins drive to an hour
including the Alicante Golf designed by Seve Ballesteros and the world
renowned VillaMartin golf course.
