| About Dinomart | |
Dinomart was developed by Myren Sawiak as part of the 'Hypermedia module at Staffordshire University for an BA (Hons.) Interactive Multimedia degree, under the guidance of Dr. Melissa Lee Price, Ph.D. Dinomart will require Macromedia Flash player 6 in order to to run, if you do not have this you can download it from here. Dinomart supports Problem Solving Section 1a in Key Stage 1, teaching children about money and the ways in which it can be used. It also supports areas of Key Stage one ITC learning as the National Curriculum, and follow language and vocabulary taught in Unit 2a, b and c as not to confuse the children. Thanks to Mrs. K Salt, the Key Stage 1 teaching staff and children all at Oxhey County First School in Biddulph, Stoke-on-Trent for their help in the development this project their co-operation has been greatly appreciated. Dinomart has been designed on an AMD Athlon System with 1024mb of RAM. It has been tested on low end Pentium 2 400mhz machines, with 128mb RAM. Dinomart includes sound and will run better on faster machines. The minimum recomended resolution is 800x600 with a minimum of 256 colours. If any problems are found with Dinomart or you have any questions please report them to the author, by clicking my name above. A report documenting the production of Dinomart has been produced this can be downloaded in PDF format from here. Some users on slower connections may prefer to download the Dinomart Executable file for local use on their PC. |
