The objects of the Club are:
To
promote interest in the breeding & exhibiting of Tonkinese under the GCCF
Rules.
To
hold and support shows to exhibit Tonkinese.
To
represent the interests of Club members, and their cats, at GCCF Council.
To
ensure the continued health and well-being of the breed in general, and to
encourage and promote the breeding of Tonkinese within the approved
breeding programme.
To
assist and advise owners on all matters pertaining to Tonkinese cats and
to encourage the care and protection of all cats.
This is a
friendly club that caters for all genuine enthusiasts of Tonkinese in the UK
and Overseas. Our membership comprises all aspects of the
Cat Fancy and includes pet owners, breeders, judges, vets, authors,
artists and TV presenters etc. We are constituent, and founder members of
the Tonkinese Breed Advisory Committee and have been instrumental in
achieving Championship status for the Tonkinese breed in the UK. Among the

you may download a claim form from the
TBC Useful Forms page.
COMMITTEE MEETINGS
If anyone wishes an item to be brought to the attention of the TBC
Committee it should be put in writing to the
Hon.Secretary as soon as
possible before the next meeting. All matters are dealt with in strictest
confidence.
The TBC Committee meets 4 times per year:

Generally in July, October, February and
following the AGM in April
ELIGIBLE ATTENDANTS: Elected/Co-opted Committee Members and anyone
specifically invited by the Committee.
MEMBERS ELIGIBLE FOR COMMITTEE: Any fully paid-up member is eligible
for nomination to the Committee in accordance with the
Club Rules. Please return any nominations (signed,
proposed and seconded) to the Club Secretary by February 28th.
