SECRET of private colleges: There are several private colleges that give you admission at cheaper rates as compared to expensive universities. These colleges are on the list of British Council's registered academic institutions. However, these private colleges are affiliated with non-UK universities which means that you will get non UK degree (i.e. Ireland or USA university degree) on the completion of course. Many offer University of London bachelor's degree programmes offering private tuition thereby reducing the overall expenditures. Here you have to workout your courses from given syllabus. Private colleges may not bother to give proper attention or run regular classes. Additionally, it has been observed that these colleges also provide letters for extension of visa after you completed the degree course (costing about £100-£500). In general there is limitation of attending classes at least 3 days a week (in some cases student even do not attend and work from home in UK). Several international students have been living in UK for many years while completing hieratical degrees (i.e. Diploma, bachelor's, master's etc). Many of these colleges have opened offices in Sindh and Pakistan where they do not charge extra fees but the half/full fees in advance to get more number of students.
