Courses Offered
There are almost 1000 international study programmes and courses taught in English and German. For the international programmes and courses it is absolutely essential that you can speak, read and write English as well. All type of courses are available in Germany like Agriculture, forestry and fishery, Arts and Humanities, Business administration and management, Communication, Education and Teacher, Training, Engineering, Environmental Science, Fine and applied arts, Law, Mathematics and computer science, Medical and health sciences, Natural sciences, Service, tourism and leisure, Social and behavioural sciences, Transport and logistics, Urban planning and architecture.
Admission Requirements For undergraduate
studies
1. Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate
2. One year of successfully completed university education
3. Proof of English, e.g. TOEFL or IELTS
For graduate studies

Average Fees & Living Expenses
Experience shows that to live in the Germany for one year costs a foreign student between € 400 and € 700 a month. This is needed to cover daily expenses and to pay the registration.
APPLYING FOR A STUDY VISA
Three filled Application forms along with four recent Photographs with white background and ears must be visible. (one each attached to the three visa forms and one photograph kept unattached or loose).
Valid Letter of admission (Acceptance) from a German university. (original and two copies)
Curriculum vitae. (original and two copies)
Proof of academic degrees (original and two copies)
Proof of sufficient means, (original and two copies)
Any one of the following:
- Account with a German bank in Germany, amounting to at least 7,020 EUROs,
marked with a special condition that only a
sum of 585 EUR will be available every month (original and one copy),
or
- Bank draft at least 7,020 EUR, which can only be used to open
an account in Germany, or
- Formal obligation (declaration of liability) according to §§ 82-84 of
the German Alien's Act, or
- German or foreign official scholarship
Bachelors Degree. (BA, BSC, BCOM, BBA, BCS etc etc.)
English Language Test such as TOEFL (minimum score of 550 points for the Paper Based Test or 213 points for the Computer Based Test) or IELTS (Band 6.0) are compulsory even if not required by the University. original and two copies)
If the Medium of Instruction is German, then proof of German Language would have a positive effect on your application.
Please note that the Embassy might ask for additional documents if found necessary.
Applications will only be accepted and processed after the submission of all documents. The failure to produce all required documents will result in the Refusal of the visa.
Working while studying
Foreign students in the Germany are allowed to take a part-time job.
