Courses Offered

There are almost 700 international study programmes and courses taught in English and Danish. For the international programmes and courses it is absolutely essential that you can speak, read and write English as well. All type of courses are available in Denmark like Agriculture, forestry and fishery, Arts and Humanities, Business administration and management, Communication, Education and Teacher, Training, Engineering, Environmental Science, Fine and applied arts, Law, Mathematics and computer science, Medical and health sciences, Natural sciences, Service, tourism and leisure, Social and behavioural sciences, Transport and logistics, Urban planning and architecture.

The Danish Educational System.

In Denmark around 40 per cent of an age cohort finishes higher education, and more than 200 institutions of higher education offer study programmes of varying length and levels. The programmes can be grouped into two different categories:

International students

All institutions welcome international students either as guest students or as regular degree students. In 2000 nearly 200,000 students studied at Danish higher education institutions, 4000 of whom were guest or visiting students from abroad. The number of non-Danish students on full programmes was around 2,900. Most programmes are in Danish, but there are also plenty of opportunities to follow courses and full degree programmes taught in English for persons without proficiency in Danish.

Average Fees & Living Expenses

Experience shows that to live in the Denmark for one year costs a foreign student between € 600 and € 800 a month. This is needed to cover daily expenses and to pay the registration and tuition fees.
