Review: Sky magazine

Not since Basic Instinct has so much girl-on-girl action sizzled on screen. Ex-con Gina Gershon (hotter than she was in Showgirls) joins forces - in more ways than one - with sex-kitten Jennifer Tilly. They plan to rob Tilly's Mob money-laundering lover Caesar (Joe Pantoliano) of two million big-ones, then land him the blame. But even though these cunning, smart-mouthed vixens heat the sheets together, it doesn't mean they can trust each other. The debut of 20-something university dropouts Larry and Andy Wachowski is a shocker with everything in it - a hot 'n' steamy noir dripping with blood, style and enough outrageous twists and turns to make the Coen brothers blush. Add a heaped helping of Marx Brothers slapstick (when Tilly tells bum Caesar she's leaving him, he asks: "Why? Did I use a good towel?") and you've got an edgy roller-coaster comedy which will leave you gasping for breath, yet utterly satisfied. H-h-hot.
