Fresh out of prison, butch-but-bluff thief Corky (Gershon) takes on the job of renovating a grubby apartment. Next door lives sexily sweet Violet (Tilly) with her Mafia boyfriend Caesar (Joe Pantoliano), and Corky can't believe her luck when Violet starts giving her the eye in the lift.
