Rehearsals

Welcome to a website devoted to SMP's production of West Side Story at the Millfield Theatre. This production took place from 24th-28th May 2005, and while some of the stuff in it is now out of data, we will be keeping the site live for the time being.

There is now a photo gallery for your perusal. Meanwhile, below you can see the dubious bunch of men who made up our Sharks. Take particular note of Dave "Hannibal" Lector on the left, who switched seamlessly between playing a mean Shark and the nerdish Gladhand.

In the site there are details for those wishing to find about more about the production: how to book tickets and get to the theatre plus details about the casting and the production team. There are also sections for the cast themselves, giving details of rehearsal dates and venues and other important information.

We are pleased to announce that Donna Ruane will be sign interpreting our performance on Wednesday 25th May. This is a result of generous sponsorship from Data Connection

Casting
You can find details of who's playing who on the Casting page. There are a number of new members to the group. We are pleased to welcome Ben Hewis, Charlotte Moore and Warren Butcher, who are playing the key roles of Bernardo, Maria and Chino. And, of course a big welcome to all the other new members. Hello again to Carly Pickton, who last appeared with us in 1998.

Book now!
There are now only three weeks left to curtain up and ticket sales are progressing well. If you would like to come to see the show we would recommend that you book now as there are likely to be some sell-out performances. Click here if you are interested in Buying Tickets
