The company manufactures all kinds of kerosene pressure appliances, including stoves, lanterns, cookers, and mantles. The lantern shown below is one of the Butterfly brand lamps. The Lea Hin Co has a homepage showing other products made in the Singapore factory and other locations.
Although it is no longer manufactured, one interesting product is the Black Lamp, which appears to be a clone of the 400 CP Petromax hanging lanten. US collector David Hanke discovered an advertising leaflet in the packing material when he arranged to have a Butterfly lantern shipped direct to him from the makers. Part of the leaflet is shown below. Lea Hin started in 1935, at a time when I believe Petromax were exporting their products widely, so it is possible that they were agents for the German company.
